Restrict Software Installations using GPO
If your organization has an Active Directory server and not configure restrict software installations GPO in that case user able to install unwanted software on his computer. If some users install virus-infected software on his computers it’s painful for IT team. Because infected computer spread virus in all computers.
So configure Restrict Software Installations using GPO for all user they are no need to install software on his computers.
For configuring that policy:-
Login on your domain controller and click on Start-Run and type gpmc.msc and press enter.
After press enter open new windows Group Policy Management Editor go to Computer Configuration >Polices >Administrative Templates >Windows Component > click on Windows Installer.
In the right panel Prohibit User Install Double click on
Click “Enabled” to enable the policy and select hide user installs
and apply and ok
