Configure DHCP server 2016
Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) is a network management protocol that used on Internet Protocol.
Networks where is a DHCP server its dynamically assigns an IP address to devices and other network configuration parameters to each device on a network so they can communicate
A DHCP server enables computers to request IP addresses and networking parameters automatically from the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) Server.
It reducing the need for an IT administrator or a user to manually set IP addresses to all network devices in the network.
if in your network DHCP server not configured, a computer or other device on the network needs to be assigned manually an IP address, or if DHCP server is
not able to assign an IP address itself assign an APIPA address.
DHCP server working on UDP port number 67 is the destination port of a server, and UDP port number 68 is used by the client.
1. Click on Start and select server manager.
2. On server manager Click on Add roles and features
3. On Add Roles and Features Wizard Click on Next
3. On Installation Type Select Role-Based or feature-based installation and click Next
4. On Server Selection check on Select a server from the server pool and click on Next
5. On Server Roles Check on DHCP now you get a new window here you click on Add features
6. On Server Roles, after Selected the DHCP click on Next
7. On Features Click on Next
8. On DHCP Server Click on Next
9. On Confirmation Check on Restart the destination server automatically if required and click on Yes
10. On Result, click on Install
11. Now DHCP installation started
12. Now DHCP Installation completed Click on Close

11. Now DHCP installation started
12. Now DHCP Installation completed Click on Close
13 Press Windows key +r for Run, when Run Screen open type dhcpmgmt.msc press enter for open your server DHCP windows
