How to Display Files in the Root Directory of a Hard Drive
The root directory or root folder of hard drive. if your computer has a single hard drive and Windows operating system installed on that computer. in this case, you can easily access root directory or root folder using Windows explorer, in Windows operating system many of file and folders are hidden by default. if you want to know about these files you can use the following steps.
Click on Windows key + E
Click on view tab and select options
When folder Options appears select view and check "Show hidden files, folder and drives" and uncheck "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)" now click on apply and ok
Double-click on hard drive. now open "C" drive. You can see all the files and folders in the root folder of your hard drive.
