Clearing the windows 10 cache is a good start for troubleshooting for improving system performance, and freeing up disk space. Here’s how to clear your cache in Windows 10.
Clear the temporary files cache
Click on start and search type Disk Cleanup
When disk cleanup screen appears select the drive and click on OK
Once selected disk drive, Disk Cleanup will start calculating how much space you can free upon the operating system drive (C:).
Disk Cleanup for OS (C:) will now appear. Scroll down and check the box, what you want to delete Temporary Files, Recycle Bin, and Downloads. here I selected Temporary Files, Recycle Bin, and Thumbnails.
Once you have selected what you want to clear, Now click on Clean Up System Files.
Warning windows appear, prompting you to confirm you are sure you want to permanently delete the files. Select Delete Files.
