How to install DNS on windows server 2016 Step by Step

Domain name system (DNS) use for resolve hostname to IP address and IP address to hostname. DNS work in 53 TCP and UDP port.

Click on windows and select server manager

Click on Add roles and features

Click on Next

Select  Role-Based or feature-based installation  and click Next

check on Select a server from the server pool

Check on DNS now you get a new window here you click on Add features

Now DNS Selected click on Next

Click on Next

Click on Next

Click on Restart the destination server automatically if required and click on Install

Now DNS service installation start

DNS services installation completed now click on close
