How to resolve issue Generic PnP Monitor problem in Windows 10

Generic PnP Monitor issue Many users facing that problem in windows 10 after update in their monitor is not being recognized by Windows. that issue is not a windows update problem. this is the driver, hardware, and display cable issue. you can resolve the issue using the following steps. 

First Generic PnP Monitor Driver

Click on windows key+R for run and type command devmgmt.msc and press enter 

When the device manager windows appear click on monitor option and right-click on Generic PnP Monitor. Select the Update Driver option.

Here a screen appears to ask you how to update your driver, if you want to update the driver online you select "Search automatically for updated driver software". if you have a driver you select "browser my computer for driver software"

Here we have selected  "Search automatically for updated driver software" This option will be download and install the driver automatically from the Internet and click on next

When the driver updated completed restart the computer. if problem still exist update the driver manually and check.

For manually update the driver follow the step.

Click on windows key+R for run and type command devmgmt.msc and press enter 

When the device manager windows appear click on monitor option and right-click on Generic PnP Monitor. Select the Update Driver option.

Here a screen appears to ask you how to update your driver, if you want to update the driver online you select "Search automatically for updated driver software". if you have a driver you select "browser my computer for driver software"

Click on "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer" and click on next

Check show compatible hardware and click on next

Wait for some time when an updated graphics driver installed on the computer, restart the computer.
