If you connect your computer remotely using Remote Desktop Connection, you can create the Remote Desktop Connection icon on your Windows 10 desktop using the following steps.
Click on start and type mstsc
When Remote desktop connections open click on Show options
In General tab. Type IP address in Computer field, type user name, check the box Allow me to save credentials and click on Save as
Select the location where you want to save your RDP icon to. Give the connection a name, then select Save
Your RDP icon is saved and is now ready to access your computer
