 How to Reset Your Windows 10 laptop or PC Step By Step

If your windows 10 PC or laptop auto restart after some time or if found any type of windows 10 operating system related issue in windows 10 reset or recovery option lets users return Windows 10 to its original state without losing data like photos, music, videos or personal files. if you need to reset your windows 10 operating system use the following steps.

1. Click on start and select settings.

2. On windows settings click on Update & security.

3. On windows update click on Recovery.

4. On Recovery there are Two major options: Reset this PC and Advanced startup. Reset this PC is the best option for starting fresh operating system. for Advanced startup require recovery USB drive or disc. 

5. On the reset the PC click on get started.

6. Click either "Keep my files" or "Remove everything," depending on you if want to keep your data files select Keep my files. If you don't want your files, photos and programs select Remove everything. All of your settings will return to their defaults and apps will be uninstalled.  

6. Select form "how would you like to reinstall windows" if you want to install from cloud choose cloud download. if you want to reinstall from local click on Local Reinstall.

7. Click on Next.

8. Click on Reset. Windows will restart and take several minutes to reset itself.

9. Click on Continue.

10. Your PC is now Preparing to reset.

11. The PC restarts and the reset process begins.

12. It takes at least 10-30 minutes to reset your PC.

After the reset is complete, you will see the initial screen where you will be asked to select region, keyboard layout etc. Complete those initial steps. you successfully performed a reset.
