 How to disable Windows 10 Control Panel and Settings


In Windows 10,  the Control Panel and Settings app using you can change the settings for customize your experience, and change system, network, account, and privacy settings.

If you are working as a system administrator in an organization and you if want to disable Control Panel and Settings using to following steps. because of you know that if non-technical users access settings and control panel and do some changes its will often result in misconfigurations.

1. Press Windows key + R for open the Run.

2. Type gpmc.msc and press enter for open Group Policy management.

3. Brose User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Control Panel

4. On the right side, double-click on Prohibit access to Control Panel and PC settings policy.




5. When Prohibit access to Control Panel and PC settings open click on Enable.




6. Click on Apply and OK.


Disable Settings and Control Panel using Registry 


In windows 10 Home edition don't have Local Group Policy Editor but if you want to disable control panel and setting you can easily disable to access using Registry.

1. Press Windows key + R for open the Run.

2. When Run open, Type regedit and press enter for open the Registry.

3. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

4. Right-click on the right side, select New, and then click on DWORD (32-bit) Value.

5. Type the Name of key NoControlPanel and press Enter.

6. Double-click the newly created DWORD and set the value from 0 to 1.

7. Click on OK and restart the computer
